Sensa Review

Sensa ReviewSensa is a weight loss system developed by Dr. Alan Hirsch. Over the course of 25 years, Dr. Hirsch developed flavor enhancers that are sprinkled on any kind of food that you eat. As you eat, the smell and taste receptors send a message to your brain, which in turn releases a hormone letting your body know that it is full and it is time to stop eating. Over a period of time, you crave food less and less. This phenomenon is called sensory-specific satiety.

There is a five step process that takes place when people start using Sensa:

  • Scents from the Sensa Tastants travel through the nose and tongue to the nerve receptors in the brain
  • The receptors then send a signal that stimulates the olfactory bulb and the taste center in the brain
  • The olfactory bulb then sends a signal to the satiety center in the hypothalamus
  • The hypothalamus then sends a signal to the pituitary gland
  • The pituitary gland then releases hormones that suppress hunger and appetite

Sensa Reviews

If you have even been on a diet, you know how hard they are to stick to. Most diets require that you cut out foods that you love the most and, after some time, you will give in to those cravings and begin overeating or possibly binging on those foods, thus gaining back any weight you have lost. This is what is considered as a “yo-yo” diet.

Sensa does not put any food restrictions on you so there are no cravings or feelings of depravation. Sensa allows you to continue eating the foods you love and gain satisfaction from eating less of them. With Sensa, you are not required to weigh in or go to any meetings or exercise programs.

Sensa does not have the common side effects associated with other diet pills and appetite suppressants.

While using Sensa, you will not experience:

  • Jittery feelings
  • Anxiety
  • Digestive problems
  • Mood swings

During a six month clinical study, Dr. Hirsch tested a control group of 1,436 men and women. These participants continued to eat their normal diet and exercise routine and sprinkled Sensa on everything they ate. This group lost an average of 30.5 pounds. While the 100 that participated in the control group and did not use Sensa, only lost an average of 2 pounds.

Sensa is designed to be used over a six month period. The six month supply will consist of twelve bottles; one for home and one to carry with you for a month at a time. It is important to change the flavor enhancer every thirty days so your body doesn’t become resistant to Sensa and you can continue to lose weight. If you would like to continue losing weight after the six month period is over, simply start over with month one.

Sensa helps you reach your weight goals with:

  • No dieting
  • No counting calories
  • No surgery
  • No drugs, pills, stimulants

Sensa sprinkles are food flakes made from malt dextrin, tribalism phosphate, silica and flavors. • Taco
  • Parmesan cheese

There does not seem to be any side serious effects associated with using Sensa, but it is still highly recommended to speak with a physician prior to using any new supplement, medication or exercise program.

Sensa reviews are all over the internet. There are several great ones on the Sensa website as well as other discussion boards and forums all over the internet. Just like with any other product that has reviews, you will come across good reviews as well as bad reviews. The power of reviews help individuals become informed about every aspect of a product and helps them determine if the product is right for his or her own lifestyle.

Individuals are going to find Sensa reviews from people that changed nothing while using the sprinkles and lost a lot of weight. There will also be reviews where people starting eating sensibly along with using Sensa and lost a lot of weight. Then there are those reviews where users incorporated using Sensa into their exercise routine and reported losing a lot of weight.

What are the Sensa Side Effects?

With the Sensa diet becoming so popular, many people may be wondering if there are any Sensa side effects. Just like with any other dietary supplement, there are both good and bad reports. Since Sensa is made from ingredients that are found in most foods, it is really unknown if Sensa actually produces side effects or if it is the ingredients in Sensa that can cause some side effects.

Sensa is a new approach to weight loss. It consists of Sensa “tastants” which are sprinkled over the food you eat. These tastants enhance the flavor and smell of the food sending signals to the brain and releasing a hormone that tricks your brain into thinking you are full, thus making you eat less and less allowing you to lose weight.

The creator of Sensa, Dr. Alan Hirsch, conducted a clinical study over a six-month period that included 1,436 men and women. These participants were not asked to change their eating habits or exercise routines. All they had to do was sprinkle Sensa on everything they ate. At the end of the six months, the participants had lost an average of 30.5 pounds. Of the one hundred that was in the control group who did not use Sensa, those participants only lost an average of 2 pounds.

Since Sensa does not contain any stimulants, drugs, diuretics, fat blockers or appetite suppressants, you will not get the anxiety, jittery feeling or digestive problems that come along with other diet pills. But there are a few Sensa side effects that the company admits to:

  • Upset stomach
  • Dizziness
  • Hives
  • Gas
  • Loose bowels
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Swelling

For anyone that experiences loose bowels, difficulty breathing or swelling in any part of the body should immediately stop using Sensa and consult their doctor.

There are a few complaints that have been raised by some users of Sensa that the company does not admit to:

  • Rectal bleeding
  • Intestinal blockage
  • Nausea
  • Dry mouth
  • Severe kidney pains
  • Vomiting
  • Constipation
  • Severe stomach pains
  • Gall bladder attacks

The two main ingredients in Sensa are maltrodextrin and tribalism phosphate. Maltrodextrin is made from corn and is a common food additive that is often used as a sugar substitute. Tricalcium phosphate is often used as a dietary supplement or electrolyte replacement agent. It increases serum calcium by directly affecting bones, the kidneys and the gastrointestinal tract. Tricalcium phosphate also reduces mineral release and collagen breakdown in bone. This ingredient can cause some of the aforementioned side effects. Among the other inactive ingredients in Sensa are silica, milk, soy, natural and artificial flavors.

If a person is allergic to any of the ingredients in Sensa, they have a high risk of having Sensa side effects. Even though Sensa claims that there are very few incidences of side effects, it is still highly recommended to speak with your physician prior to using any new supplement or medication. If you experience any of the aforementioned side effects while taking Sensa, stop using Sensa immediately and consult your doctor.

The Sensa Diet is set up on a six-month plan

The system consists of twelve bottles of the flavor enhancers; that’s two bottles to use over the period of a month (one to use at home and one to carry with you). For best results, individuals must sprinkle Sensa on everything they eat and then move on to the next month at the end of thirty days. To be successful with this diet, you must change bottles every thirty days so your body does not become resistant to the blend so you can continue to lose weight. If you wish to continue using Sensa after six months, simply restart the system using month one.

Dr. Alan Hirsch conducted a clinical study (not to be confused with a clinical trial) of 1,436 people. Of those who completed the program, the average weight loss was 30.5 pounds without making any changes to their diet and exercise programs. This claim is not considered scientifically valid although those in the double-blind placebo group lost an average of 27.5 pounds without making any changes to their diet and exercise program.

The Sensa Diet is centered on the physiological and psychological aspect of appetite. It does not address eating healthily or even promote exercise as a way of being healthy and losing weight. It is intended to work with your sense of smell, fooling your brain and stomach into thinking you are full even when you are not, which is to lead to weight loss.

There does seem to be a high level of success among users of the Sensa Diet, although it has not been approved by the FDA as of yet. The Sensa Diet is a diet that is easily followed because you get a bottle to use both at home and while you are on the go. As with anything, the Sensa Diet has both positive and negative feedback; strong reviews and criticisms. The only way to find out if Sensa is right for you is to give it a try. SENSA is a scam. They will get your money every month even though you have cancelled ahead of time. Their trial is full of s*** because they will not credit you back. Do not patronize this kind of business. Do not be fooled as I was. We have to fight back. The product doesnt even work. Do not make them profit from our lack of knowledge and vulnerability.

Sensa is worthless. Little packages that you sprinkle to kill the taste of the food. I could have done the same thing with flour or cornstarch. What a waste of money. I am still amazed that we do not have a responsible agency to prevent these flukes from making irrational claims and subsequently manipulate people to part with significant sums of money.
